  • Black Sesame Seeds are derived from the sesame plant, which is one of the oldest oilseed plants known to man. Black sesame seeds have a rich nutty flavour, making them a delicious addition to curries or simply eaten straight from the pack, for a protein-rich snack. Although it is an oily seed, the fat content is largely of the unsaturated variety, making it one of the healthier cooking oils to use. There is a substantial difference between the calcium content of peeled (hulled) versus unpeeled (unhulled) sesame seeds. When the hulls remain on the seeds, one tablespoon of sesame seeds provides about 88mg of calcium. hen the hulls are removed, this same tablespoon will provide about 37mg (nearly 60% less).   Sizes: 1kg / 25kg Minimum order: 10x1kg / 1x25kg logo-ogn
  • Organic brown flax seed, also known as linseed, comes from the flax plant, which is cultivated for its seeds as well as its fiber. Organic brown flax seed is an excellent source of fiber, and also the most widely available botanical source of omega-3 fatty acids. • Organic Cacao Butter Cacao butter is one of many ways the cacao bean can be processed. Cacao butter, also called Theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible vegetable fat extracted from the cacao bean. Cacao butter has massive benefits when you eat it and when you apply it to your skin. You might know of it as chocolate, but cacao is a less processed form that does not use high heat, leaving the superfood qualities intact. • Botanical name: Theobroma cacao Cacao nibs are derived from the cacao bean which grows on the cacao tree. Cacao, is the source of original, natural chocolate in its purest form, before anything else is added. Producing cacao nibs’ begins with shelling, drying and fermenting the cacao beans before grinding them into crunchy, bitter, intensely chocolate-tasting bits. Often times, the cacao then gets heated at high temperatures to reduce its bitter edge, and some of its nutrients. At this point it becomes known as cocoa, and can be made into chocolate bars or cocoa powder. But our organic raw cacao nibs are simply pure cacao beans ground into small pieces. Through our low temperature process (not over 47°C), we are able to preserve all the nutrients and flavors found in cacao. We use only the finest variety of certified organic cacao beans which have never been genetically modified. Raw cacao nibs are loaded with energy-boosting nutrients such as the minerals magnesium, copper, fiber, and iron, and are also an excellent source of antioxidants.   Sizes: 750g / 15kg Minimum order: 10x750g / 1x15kg logo-ogn

  • Botanical name: Anacardium occidentale (the cashew tree) Cashew nuts are well-known kidney-shaped nuts that are light-coloured, delicate in flavour, and slightly spongy in texture. Cashew nuts belong to the same family as the mango and pistachio nut. They are actually seeds that adhere to the bottom of the cashew apple, which is the fruit of the cashew tree.
